An Android commenter in a historical discussion describes Merge Dragons as achievable without spending, then recommends a paid shortcut. Those are different approaches. The official gems article also discusses buying gems with earned gift cards: that is still a purchase, so it is excluded by our strict €0 research scope. How it enters our own ranking
A documented manual test or two independent comparable credited results must identify the country, OS, exact milestone sheet, complete spending and currency. Record active time when measuring hourly return, and keep waiting separate. Sources must be current enough for the offer, with counterexamples reviewed.
Freecash’s gems article describes Purple Dragon Stars from daily rewards and occasional quests. These can supply gems over time, but do not establish when a particular Freecash target will finish. Its gift-card-funded purchase method remains spending.
The Android comment joins two different claims: free completion and a paid shortcut. Do not carry the shortcut’s time into the free plan. A March 2025 post reports a purchase tracking while game progress did not. Check the metric and early progression credit before committing to a long resource chain.
